Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Scout XI ("the Service", "we") collects, uses and protects your personal data. We aim to comply with the EU/UK GDPR, Türkiye's KVKK and California's CCPA/CPRA. The Service is available worldwide.

1. Who we are

Scout XI is an online football data scouting game. Data controller / operator contact: bertanbayrak@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account: email address, display name (nickname), and an optional country you select.
  • Gameplay: match results (score, rank, chosen metric), lobby membership and wins.
  • Preferences: theme and tutorial state stored in your browser (localStorage).
  • Technical: IP address is processed transiently for security and rate-limiting; standard server logs.

We do not collect sensitive categories of data and we do not sell your personal data.

3. Why we use it (purposes & legal bases)

  • Provide accounts, lobbies and matches — performance of a contract.
  • Security, abuse prevention and rate-limiting — legitimate interests.
  • Optional country/flag display and preferences — consent (you choose).

4. Processors & third parties

  • Supabase — authentication & database (account, gameplay data).
  • Vercel — hosting, edge delivery, server logs.
  • Google — optional "Sign in with Google".
  • Stripe — payment processing (test mode only; not active for real payments yet).

Data may be processed outside your country (including the US/EU). Transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

5. Retention

Account and gameplay data are kept while your account is active. Empty/abandoned lobbies are deleted automatically. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on your region you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability (GDPR), the rights listed under KVKK Art. 11, and CCPA rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of "sale/sharing" (we do not sell data). 7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child provided us data, contact us for removal.

8. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy. We use only essential cookies/local storage (authentication, theme, tutorial, consent). No advertising or analytics trackers.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
